MANIFESTED MALAS

Japamala in Sanskrit comes from japa (murmur or whisper) and mala (garland), so its full meaning would be, a garland that allows the practitioner to murmur prayers. They have been used for thousands of years to count mantras and prayers by Buddhists Yogis  and many other spiritual traditions.

A full mala contains 108 counting beads plus the guru or meru bead . The beads materials (gemstones, seeds, and wood) contain healing and energetic properties that are absorbed while wearing the mala.
